Privacy statement

Sodijk is the one-person studio of Sven Overdijk. When you fill in a form on this site, I receive personal data from you. This is what I do with it, short and without fine print.

What I collect and why

Starting a project. Your name, email address, what kind of project you have in mind (discipline, focus, scale, planning and deadline), how you would like to meet and anything you write in the notes field. I use this to review your request, get in touch and prepare a proposal or quote.

Joining the network. Your name, email address, phone number, town or city, disciplines, portfolio link, the kind of collaboration you are after and your notes. I use this to decide whether and how we could work together, and to contact you when a suitable project comes up.

Only put in the notes what is needed. I don't need any sensitive information.

Legal basis

You ask for contact, a proposal or a collaboration yourself, so I process your data to take steps at your request before a possible agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If a request turns into a project, I keep what my bookkeeping requires by law (Art. 6(1)(c)). Spam protection and visitor statistics rely on my legitimate interest in a secure site and in knowing which pages get read (Art. 6(1)(f)).

How long

  • Network applications: up to 2 years.
  • Project requests that don't become a project: up to 1 year.
  • Requests that do become a project: 7 years, because of Dutch tax retention rules.

After that, I delete your data.

Who else is involved

I don't sell your data. I only share it with the services this site needs to work:

  • Webflow (US) hosts the site and stores form submissions.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (US) checks that a human is filling in the form, using technical data such as your IP address and browser.
  • Make may forward submissions to my inbox or records and send you a confirmation email.
  • My email provider receives the notifications of new submissions.
  • Umami counts visits anonymously, without cookies and without identifying you. I can see which pages are viewed and for how long, not who you are.

When data goes to a country outside the European Economic Area, this happens with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

Your rights

You can always ask which data I hold about you. You can also have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, or request a copy. Email sven@sodijk.cc and I'll reply within a month.

Complaints

If we can't sort it out together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Sodijk is een eenmanszaak van Sven Overdijk. Als je een formulier op deze site invult, krijg ik persoonsgegevens van je. Hieronder staat wat ik daarmee doe, kort en zonder kleine lettertjes.

Wat ik verzamel en waarom

Een project aanvragen. Je naam, e-mailadres, wat voor project je in gedachten hebt (discipline, focus, schaal, planning en deadline), hoe je wilt afspreken en wat je zelf in de toelichting typt. Dat gebruik ik om je aanvraag te beoordelen, contact met je op te nemen en een voorstel of offerte te maken.

Aanmelden voor het netwerk. Je naam, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer, woonplaats, disciplines, link naar je portfolio, de vorm van samenwerking die je zoekt en je toelichting. Dat gebruik ik om te beoordelen of en hoe we kunnen samenwerken, en om je te benaderen als er een passend project is.

Zet in de toelichting alleen wat nodig is. Gevoelige gegevens heb ik niet nodig.

Op welke grond

Je vraagt zelf om contact, een voorstel of een samenwerking. Ik verwerk je gegevens dus om op jouw verzoek stappen te zetten vóór een eventuele overeenkomst (art. 6 lid 1 sub b AVG). Wordt een aanvraag een opdracht, dan bewaar ik wat nodig is voor mijn administratie omdat de wet dat verplicht (sub c). Voor de spambeveiliging en de bezoekstatistieken beroep ik me op mijn gerechtvaardigd belang: een veilige site en weten welke pagina's gelezen worden (sub f).

Hoe lang

  • Netwerkaanmeldingen: maximaal 2 jaar.
  • Projectaanvragen die geen opdracht worden: maximaal 1 jaar.
  • Aanvragen die wel een opdracht worden: 7 jaar, vanwege de fiscale bewaarplicht.

Daarna verwijder ik je gegevens.

Wie er verder bij kan

Ik verkoop je gegevens niet en deel ze alleen met diensten die nodig zijn om deze site te laten werken:

  • Webflow (VS) host de site en slaat de formulierinzendingen op.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (VS) checkt of een formulier door een mens wordt ingevuld en kijkt daarvoor naar technische gegevens zoals je IP-adres en browser.
  • Make kan inzendingen doorsturen naar mijn mailbox of administratie en je een bevestigingsmail sturen.
  • Mijn e-mailprovider ontvangt de meldingen van nieuwe inzendingen.
  • Umami telt bezoeken anoniem, zonder cookies en zonder dat je herleidbaar bent. Ik zie welke pagina's bekeken worden en hoe lang ze openstaan, niet wie jij bent.

Gaan gegevens naar een land buiten de Europese Economische Ruimte, dan gebeurt dat met de waarborgen die de AVG eist, zoals het EU-VS Data Privacy Framework of de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie.

Cookies

Deze site plaatst geen tracking- of advertentiecookies. Daarom zie je ook geen cookiebanner.

Jouw rechten

Je mag altijd vragen welke gegevens ik van je heb. Je kunt ze ook laten corrigeren of verwijderen, de verwerking laten beperken, bezwaar maken of een kopie opvragen. Mail naar sven@sodijk.cc, dan reageer ik binnen een maand.

Klacht

Kom je er met mij niet uit, dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
